Registration Fees

- Regular participant/Student fee includes:
  Session Participation, Exhibition, Lunch, Coffee Breaks, Programs and Proceedings booklet & CD-Rom
- Accompanying person fee includes: Entrance to Exhibition, Lunch, Coffee Breaks
- Banquet fee is included in the Regular participant and ISCC2010 Committee Registration Fees.

*1 Please note that the fee for the regular participant is JPY 60,000 only if the registration is completed by July 15, 2010,
    along with the payment complete by July 31, 2010.
*2 Students must show their student ID card at the registration desk on the day.
*3 Technical Tour is scheduled to go around laboratories in Tsukuba area. Participation is limited to 35 persons.
Please note in advance that the Tour may subject to cancel due to reception situation of institutions/laboratories.

Methods of Payment

After registering through this website, all payments must be made in Japanese yen by credit card or by invoice-based bank transfer. The latter method only applies to JACA corporate members. (Credit Cards: VISA and MasterCard are accepted.)

*Please note that your credit card payment will be drawn from your credit card account in the name of ISS, INC., a company acting as the secretariat for this conference.

Confirmation and Receipt

The Pre-Confirmation e-mail with the registration details will be sent to you after your registration is complete and a Confirmation e-mail will be sent to you after the payment has been confirmed.
Please bring the print-out of the Confirmation e-mail with you to the symposium.
Receipt of your payment will be issued on the day of the conference addressed to the applicant’s name as registered.

Cancellation and Refunds

If you decide to cancel the registration, please inform the Secretariat in writing, via e-mail or FAX.
Refunds are based on the following; (Japan Standard Time).
On and Before Sep. 24 （10 days before the symposium): 100% of registration fee, minus 3,000JPY service charge
On and Before Oct. 3 (2 days before the symposium: 50% of registration fee, minus 3,000JPY service charge
On and After Oct. 4 (1 day before the symposium): No Refund
Please note that your cancellation will not be accepted if you requested documents for VISA acquisition.

Passport and Visa

A valid passport is required to enter Japan. Participants from certain countries may be required to obtain a visa to enter Japan.
If you are uncertain about your requirements, please consult your nearest Japanese Embassy or Consulate, or visit the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan (http://www.mofa.go.jp/j_info/visit/visa/index.html).

The committee requires payment of the registration fee as a condition of visa issuance.
The secretariat will send an official letter of invitation upon request, through the registration form below after the registration and payment is complete.
If you require a visa to enter Japan, please download the Visa Information Sheet by clicking the button, fill in all the details and send the sheet as an attachment to the Registration Office (iscc2010-reg@issjp.com) by e-mail.
The Registration Office will develop an invitation letter and a guarantee letter based on the information that you provide in the Visa Information Sheet and send them to you at the address specified on the sheet.
Please make your own application for visa acquisition at the Japanese Embassy or Consulate once you have received the letter.
