Abstract
Submission
Participants wishing to present papers are requested to submit an abstract to
the ISCC2010 Secretariat via e-mail no later than April 10 (Saturday), 2010.
General
Information of Abstract Submission
- Submission of an abstract
constitutes a commitment by the first author.
- Presentation
by the first author is most preferable. However,
under circumstances, the first author
may be replaced by co-authors.
- All presenters
of submitted abstracts must register as a participant
for the symposium.
- Submitted abstracts will be reviewed
by the Scientific Committee of ISCC2010.
- The Scientific
Committee will make the final selections on whether
to categorize
for oral/
poster presentations.
- Notifications to
abstract authors will be sent to corresponding authors
on regular basis.
Abstract Format Guidelines Abstracts must be in English.
The format for abstracts consists of one page of text
and one table or figure. Text should be approximately
300 words including spaces (single space). Font size
should be no less than 10 pt, and the font type should
be in Times New Roman. The abstract in PDF format is
most preferable for electronic submission. Please note
again that only one table/ figure can be included in
the abstract.
The text page should include
the abstract title, all authors’ names and affiliations,
abstract body, and Keywords (3 to 6). A table/ figure
should be clearly labeled and captioned. All text embedded
in the figures must be greater than 8 pt font size. References
to prior work should be included as a footnote at the
end of the text page.

Instructions for Abstract
Submission
All abstract must be submitted
via e-mail. Do not fax or mail hardcopies of the abstract.
Please download the Submission Form (Word / PDF) and
e-mail the completed form together with the Abstract
to the
ISCC2010
Secretariat
as an attachment.
For consideration of your
abstract, the following information must be entered on
the submission form.
- Title
- Authors' Information
- Assignment of abstract category based on the topics that are provided
- Presentation preference (oral/ poster/ no preference)
- Complete contact information of the corresponding author
If you encounter problems
at any point in the abstract submission process, please
contact the ISCC2010 Secretariat by sending e-mail to

regular business hours, Japan standard time.

All papers should be submitted in English.
However, simultaneous interpretation will be available
at the symposium for those who intend to present in Japanese.
Instruction for Full Paper Preparation *Only those applicants whose abstracts were accepted are eligible to submit the
Full Paper.
1. Submission of Full Papers
Full Papers are to be submitted by e-mail transmission
to the ISCC2010 secretariat (iscc2010@issjp.com) in
both Microsoft Word and PDF format documents, saved
to files labeled with the author’s name (e.g., j-f-smith.doc
and j-f-smith.pdf).
Please note that the Full Papers will also be targeted
to review, and only the accepted Full Papers will be
printed onto the ISCC2010 Proceedings.
2. Number of pages
Please prepare your paper within 6 pages including figures,
tables and pictures at the paper size of A4 (210x297mm).
3. Language
The paper must be written in clear and correct English.
4. Layout Setting
Please
prepare your paper according to the setting below.

Margins
The top and bottom margins should be set at 30mm. Left and right hand margins
set at 25mm.
Keep single space and use single column. |

Spacing
All paragraphs should be written in single space with a double space between
each paragraph. |

Headings
Headings should be in bold. The first letter for each section headings and sub-headings
should be typed in capital letter. |
(4) |
Tables and Figures
Inclusion of tables and figures such as charts, diagrams and photographs are
to be placed in the text, and numbered consecutively
in the order that they are cited in the text. They
must be individually captioned. Use only tables and
figures that are pertinent to the text. They must
be sharp, clear, and only in black and white. Do
not include figures that depend on color for meaning. |

Please use SI units. |

Page Numbering
Please do NOT number pages. |

(References
They should be placed
at the end of the paper and should either be in the
order as they appear in the text or in alphabetical
order by last name of first author. |

Symbols
Symbols used in equations should be explained directly
below the equation in which they first appear or
in a nomenclature section. |
5. Order
You are responsible for typing accuracy and proofreading
your paper.
All fonts should be in Times New Roman. If you decide
to use symbols or Greek characters, please use the font
“Symbol”.
Please follow the guideline below strictly in preparing
your paper:

Typed in capital letters, bolded and centered in
14pt, Times New Roman. |

Authors’ names
Centered in bold, 10.5pt.
If you have many co-authors, please list all co-authors
here. Different affiliations may be numbered after
each last name. |

Centered straight below the authors’ names, in 10.5pt.
Please write clearly each authors’ affiliation
with company/university, identifying city, country
and e-mail address. |

Abstract
Approximately 150 words, typed with the font size
of 10.5pt. |

Body
The text should be left and right justified in 10.5pt.
Headings and sub-headings (e.g. Introduction, Results,
Discussions, Conclusions, etc.) should be in bold. |

Typed with the font size of 9pt. |
